Useful to hear your insights into Linkedin. I have been using it for a while now but mainly in a passive way. I hope that it isn't going to become too much like Facebook or others. Ease of use is important and things have definitely improved but I think it works best as a business network. Another one I have used for a while is XING (formerly OpenBC). Like you Anna I only use the free options but I would pay if I really felt it was going to benefit my business.

Couldn't help deliberately mishearing when you said "Jobs Insider" in the podcast, as "Jobs in Cider" which definitely sounds more interesting and is probably something that Heather would be good at. I have to resist the urge to go out and get a domain like jobsincider.co.uk, partly because it would have no relevance at all to my business, and partly because although I love puns and word play, I think they are best avoided in domain names because of the difficulty in explaining to people when they can't find your site.
