Rich Pickings from Berry Cottage!

One of the regular listeners to the Podcast Sisters show is Anne Howe from the Down shifting blog. On last weeks show we talked about tools that we used to enhance our business and to help us make money on line. Well, Anne has now produced her first book which is called Rich Pickings from Berry Cottage, which you can find at Blurb! Well done Anne, The Podcast Sisters are proud of you.

Here is the introduction to the book
"                  Anne has Chronic Fatigue Sydrome but despite very little energy, writes a blog about life with less and how rich a life can be with a disability that affects all levels of being. This book is full of little steps to achieve a richer life with less, saving energy, sourcing local food and includes a few seasonal recipes too."

I thought you might like a little feedback about blurb.
It was easy to use but you need a lot of memory on your computer. The making of the book was an interesting experience, a first for me but if I can do this then many can. One negative is that blurb is aimed at the US market and therefore making money as a European out of the site is not possible.
I am chuffed though with the book and am looking to make an economy version for the European market using lulu, but for the moment I need a rest from the editors job.
I will definitely give this a go next year and make a blog book as I go along. Its made my Christmas shopping list a lot easier and more personal. I also believe this is an excellent tool to congratulate yourself... being in print is a fab feeling!
