Here are some facts about Twitter
- Twitter is a social networking and microblogging service that allows users to send updates of up to 140 xharachters long via SMS, Instant Messaging, e-mail, the twitter website or an application.
- It was founded in March 2006.
- Twitter started as a research and development project inside of Odeo by Noah Glass and Jack Dorsey
