5 Best Learnings of my Blogging and Podcasting

I cannot tell you how much I have learned from blogging and podcasting - but here are my 5 top thoughts

1. You can learn so much from reading and listening to the thoughts of others. Now I can tune into ideas from around the world which has expanded my knowledge and my understanding of cultural differences. Before I was insular to my local community.
2. By starting a conversation people add to your thoughts, build on them and help you develop as a person quicker. There really is wisdom in crowds.
3. That none of the technology is difficult, even for a non geek myself. It may have many jargon words but they are much easier than they sound! Do not be scared of having a go...you will be surprised at how easy many of these tools are.....
4. How giving and sharing the community is - each time that I have not known how to do something, someone has helped me. People want to help, I now know just to ASK.
5. It has helped me to take feedback much more constructively. People disagree, people have different points of view - when it first happened it felt awful, now I understand that the power is in the differences and I have learned to enjoy the discussion.
